Torn between his sense of duty to his family name and his growing passion for Elizabeth Bennet, all he can do is struggle not to fall in love. Mr. Darcy's Diary presents the story of the unlikely courtship of Elizabeth Bennet and Fitzwilliam Darcy from Darcy's point of view. This graceful imagining and sequel to Pride and Prejudice explains Darcy's moodiness and the difficulties of his reluctant relationship as he struggles to avoid falling in love with Miss Bennet. Though seemingly stiff and stubborn at times, Darcy's words prove him also to be quite devoted and endearing - qualities that eventually win over Miss Bennet's heart. This continuation of a classic romantic novel is charming and elegant, much like Darcy himself.

From Pride and Prejudice; Many authors are now writting books around the classic making it more popular than ever, (not talking about the horrible zombie book). Many people (including me) have fallen in love with the characters of Elizabeth and Darcy. These two stole my heart from the beginning, I always wanted to see what Darcy's side of the story was, Why did he make his friend leave Jane behind, and what made him hate Mr. Wickham so much????

When I began this book I figured everything was going to be made up and not follow the original story but I was wrong. it followed Pride and Prejudice perfect up to the end where it took off on its on at the holiday christmas party. I must say I loved it I loved it I loved it!!!!!

If you are into Pride and Prejudice, then I suggest you getting your hands on this book and reading it.

I felt like i was actually there with them and getting to see what happened through a whole new set of eye's! I could not hardly put the book down and I believe Jane Austen would have been proud of how true to the original story this stayed. The only difference was the way they talked, you could understand them better in this noval.

FIVE STARS! MUST READ AND A MUST RECOMMENDATION.
