Jane Slayre, our plucky demon-slaying heroine, a courageous orphan who spurns the detestable vampyre kin who raised her, sets out on the advice of her ghostly uncle to hone her skills as the fearless slayer she’s meant to be. When she takes a job as a governess at a country estate, she falls head-over-heels for her new master, Mr. Rochester, only to discover he’s hiding a violent werewolf in the attic—in the form of his first wife. Can a menagerie of bloodthirsty, flesh-eating, savage creatures-of-the-night keep a swashbuckling nineteenth-century lady from the gentleman she intends to marry? Vampyres, zombies, and werewolves transform Charlotte Brontë’s unforgettable masterpiece into an eerie paranormal adventure that will delight and terrify.

I will give this book props for being original and taking the actual Jane Eyre book and turning it into a vampire/wolf hunting book like so many other people before this one. This book reminded me too much of Abraham and Pride Prejudice and Zombies. Thank god this author didn't include images like the other two books.

Can I say this....PLEASE STOP TAKING THE CLASSICS AND REWRTING THEM INTO SHIT! I mean this is my favorite book and movie a love story of an orphaned poor governess who never asked for much, falls in love with a twisted and dark man to find out on her wedding day to him that he is married to a crazy woman who has tried to kill them both more than once....who in the end finds out he tried to save his wife when she killed herself, sacrificing his sight and in the end getting Jane just the way she is. That is a romantic story that should not be tampered with at all.

I saw reviews saying "I was forced to read Jane for school to pass, man I wish this book was offered instead." similar post on other great classics as well and yet young adults will never read the old classics because their heads are so full of stories of zombies, wolves, and vampires. Blood and guts are not always what makes a good story people i'm sorry but no its not the best.

In a few years publishiers will not be looking for vampire/wolf books because so many authors are using this over and over it's becoming unpopular just like with the scary movies, how many times can you see a person killed with a doll or demon or ghost before it gets to the point that its not scary anymore?

So with that said what did we think of this book......(rolling my eyes) we absolutly hated it! I mean you could tell where the story was messed with ti cause the slayre to come in which didn't even make it better than the original it just messed the story up completly.

either way I don't recommend this book, we didn't even know about it until it was sent to us for a review.
