I have not read the other books leading up to this one but I have been getting MANY high recommendations for this series. so I figured that I would try it. and although this book was a lot similair to Miss Peregrines home for Peculair children I did read it and I must say I did like it a lot better. This is what a scary book is supposed to be like. I had chills the whole time I was reading it waiting for something to jump out of my shadows and scar me to hell but this right here did the trick and I loved it.
I recommend this to readers but I also say read the first books first before reading this one, this is why I am not giving away any spoils on it right now.
