Based on the original New Story by, J. K. Rowling, John Tiffany & Jack Thorne

It was always difficult being Harry Potter, and it isn't much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband, and a father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: Sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

BBREVIEW: rating 10 stars.

I have been waiting to post this review because so many people have been hating on this book and I believe I have finally figured out why. Its because Harry Potter fans see the Potter story in a different view, they are not up for new ideas, new view points, and even a new side to the story. Potter fans need to understand Harry Potter cannot be a 10 year old boy for the rest of his life, in the last book and even the movie, Harry is a happy grown man with kids going off to school and the future looks bright. This to me was the best way to end the Harry Potter series. BUT fans need to also look at the name on the new Harry Potter book # 8, Rowling HELPED write the next step.

I also saw most people are mad because this does not read as a book.....listen if you cannot see on the book that its a script and not an actual book then clearly you should not pick this book up nor read it at all. I also cannot understand why people don't want to see that this book is a play going on in London. People are so judged on seeing something the same way that they don't realize how amazing this is to read this play script even if you cannot go to see the actual play in London you get to read it and live it and imagine in your head as you would see this playing out in front of you on a stag.

so we have new chatterers:

Harry and Ginny Potter's children: Albus, James, and Lily Potter

The story is based around Albus the middle child who is placed into the Slytherin house by the sorting hat, everyone is shocked (even me ) but he also makes a new friend and becomes the opposite of the person Harry Potter was. (Teen hormones of being the middle child is to act out and become the black depressed sheep of the family.)

Ron and Harmonie Weasley: Rose who is also Albus cousin who tries to tell him they should make friends on the train to last them a life time since they are so famous because of their parents.

we all remember Draco Malfoy, he has a son named Scorpius (which that yes i did not like) the rumor is that Draco went back in time and his son is actual the son of the famous villain VOLDEMORT!

Albus finds out that his father has a time machine (not a big one) that will take them back five minutes in the past, so he and Scorpius decide to take it upon themselves to go back in time and save Cedric from being killed by Voldemort they fail many times and each time the future is changed as well.

Towards the end we do come to a great plot twist about the rumor about Voldemort however I will not share that just in case some reader's have not read the script yet.

Lets just say that in the end Harry goes back in time to save his son and witnesses his parents being killed, at this point of the script I am blubbering like a baby because I felt like I was there watching it with him happening knowing they cannot change the past or the future will be messed up.

All I can say is that I loved this book/script and I thought it was amazing. it show what happens to the original people into what happens with their kids. I myself always hoped that they would make a new movie about the kids and yet they made a play which is even better.

Be open minded when reading this, read it like a play and not just another book. Don't judge this book with the original books without giving it a chance and I mean a REAL chance!.

I recommend this book for all to read. It was amazing and yet I have actually read it again (4 times!)
