Cress, having risked everything to warn cinder of Queen Levana's evil plan, has a slight problem. She's been imprisoned on a satellite since childhood and has only ever had her netscreens as company. All that screen time has made Cress an excellent hacker. Unfortunately, She's just received orders from Levana to track down Cinder and her handsome accomplice. When a daring rescue of Cress involving Cinder, Captain Thorne, Scarlet, and Wolf goes awry, the group is separated. Cress finally has her freedom, but it comes at a high price. Meanwhile, Queen Levana will let nothing prevent her marriage to Emperor Kai.

So the Lunar Chronicles seem to be a very popular book and I have been seeing many stores sale out of the book(s). I was very eager and happy to find Cress while in a book store one day.

So the book starts off a little slow in the beginning, starting with Cress locked up hacking people and serving Levana. But she quickly turns and begins helping Cinder so that she can escape from her prison and live out her days the way she wants too. We are also back with Scarlet, Cinder, Thorne, and Wolf

Cinder is plotting a way to get back into her home and a way to stop the wedding between Levana and Kai. But in order to do this she will need everyone's help and with Cress, she would have a bigger chance.

But on their mission to save Cress, Mistress Sybil who we met in the first book as the first hand of the Queen, comes on a random visit and discovers Cress is helping Cinder to come get her.

Skip a few pages: So once Captain Thorne does come save Cress, they crash land into a dessert. And while this is going on Cinder is trying to come up with an idea for how to stop the wedding so that she can save Kai.

In the end the group is finally back together when Cinder decides to finally seek out the Dr. that saved her from prison. which he turns out to be Cress's father before he finds out that the sickness Levana let loose is now attacking Luna's people as well, he tells Cress that he is her father and then he sadly passes away.

Like I said the book starts off a little slow but mid way it picks up with a few twist and turns. what got me was Kai basically finds out mid way that Cinder is the true Princess and doesn't realize it until she tells him which made me laugh because it was very obvious in the beginning as soon as he saw her medical records.

All in All I loved this book and this series is amazing, I would be the first in line to see the movie if they every decide to come out with one.

I highly recommend these books like always because I know any young reader would love them too.
