Hannah Baker was a new girl at school hoping for a new year and a new life. But what she got was a list a who is hot and who is not...which lead to a photo, which lead to a bad date, rape, heartbreak, rape, and death. Before Hannah leaves she records 13 tapes for 13 reasons why she did what she did...because in the end no one saw the signs and no one stopped to actually....Listen.

When the tapes reach clay Jensen he has to stop and wonder...why me? Why is he on the list? How did he cause her to kill herself?

For most readers they believe this story encourages teens to commit suicide instead of getting help. I believe for the ones who do read it and actually went through similar situations this is a book about one girls cry for help that came a little too late.

No one really thinks about suicide just to be thinking about it unless something is seriously wrong such as depression or bullying.

I felt like this story was a home run for me, getting picked on leading one girl to kill herself for good over it...I've seen it happen my whole four years of high school even though I didn't see people killing them self I did see tears and many days of arms eaten up with scares.

Bullying is not the answer and encouraging it is not the answer either. Getting help is.

I liked everything about this story. I did not want to let it end,

The only thing I did not like was how Hannah was able to remember all the things that went on without having left or having mentioned how she remember everything. Sometimes when things like what happened to Hannah happens in real life....people block it out and forget it, that's why they need something to help them remember what happened.

In all I believe everyone should read this book and yes I will say you should watch 13 reasons why on Netflix. You won't regret it.
